Se ha anunciado la re-edición por el 50 aniversario de In The Court Of The Crimson King (subtitulado An Observation by King Crimson) en un box de 3CD + Blu-ray con el debut de King Crimson.

Además de incluir una de las tapas más memorables de la historia del Rock, el disco siempre fue remarcado como una «extraña obra maestra», y eso es: un álbum cumbre del Rock Sinfónico que brilla en la ejecución de la banda con su aceitado mix de Rock Progresivo, Jazz y Clásica. Una banda, dicho sea de paso, de lujo conformada por Robert Fripp en guitarras, Greg Lake (bajo y voz), Michael Giles (batería y percusión), Ian McDonald en saxo, teclados, y otros y Peter Sinfield (en letras)
