Llega un nuevo box set de Tom Petty

La familia de Tom Petty y antiguos colaboradores compilaron un pack de cuatro CD de material previamente inédito de Petty and the Heartbreakers, para su lanzamiento el 28 de septiembre próximo, anunció SiriusXM. El mismo, llamado An American Treasure, marca el primer álbum póstumo de material de Tom desde su muerte en octubre pasado. La transmisión de SiriusXM debutó un clip de una de las canciones inéditas de 1982, un corte llamado «Keep a Little Soul».

An American Treasure contendrá grabaciones de estudio inéditas, grabaciones en vivo y versiones alternativas de canciones populares de Petty. La colección abarcará 60 temas en total. La hija de Petty, Adria y su esposa Dana, ayudaron a seleccionar el material junto con los ex Heartbreaker Benmont Tench, Mike Campbell y el colaborador de toda la vida dentro de los estudios de grabación, Ryan Ulyate. Una versión de dos CD también estará disponible para la compra.
